About McLaren Vale Lavender

McLaren Vale Lavender is a family business, established in 1990 on a small acreage of land nestled among the hills, vineyards and valleys of the world renowned McLaren Vale wine district of South Australia. It is here we grow Lavandula x intermedia 'Miss Donnington', a variety of English lavender perfectly suited to our limestone soil.

The flowers are harvested each January and then distilled slowly and gently to release the pure essential oil extract and lavender distillate water. The lavender essential oil and water are used in all the botanical skin care products, which we carefully manufacture on site.

McLaren Vale Lavender specialises in the manufacture of premium, hand-made skin care for men and women. Our extensive range of facial moisturises, hand and body creams and treatment oils are a result of over 20 years experience and research which have enabled us to develop optimal formulas, oils and botanical combinations. The products are a reflection of this, not what happens to be in fashion, or flavour of the month.

Ingredients used by McLaren Vale Lavender are selected for natural purity and are the finest quality available in Australia. Our products do not contain artificial ingredients, petrochemicals, colourings, synthetic perfumes or additives. The skin care creams are preserved with rosemary seed extract and benzoin (natural plant based preservatives and antioxidants).
