Uses of Lavender
The following is just a small selection of the vast possibilities for the use of
lavender.
The level of effectiveness of each use may vary between individuals. These suggestions
are in no way intended as an alternative for professional medical advice. Please
note that lavender may cause drowsiness in people with low blood pressure. Also
some species of lavender, such as Lavandula x intermedia varieties, contain camphor
which can act as a stimulant, thus camphorous lavender oil should be treated with
caution by pregnant women and individuals with high blood pressure.
