McLaren Vale's Mediterranean climate provides the ideal growing conditions for lavender. Nestled amongst the hills and vineyards we grow "Miss Donnington" Lavandula x intermedia, a variety of English lavender. The flowers are hand harvested and distilled on site to extract the pure essential oil. It is then bottled in dark glass and matured for 12 months prior to use in our products and offered for sale. The oil is sweet smelling, with earthy herbal undertones. The essential oil and the pure lavender water distillate are used in all of our moisturisers, balms and treatment products.
